No No Hair Removal does it work?
No No hair removal – does it work for everyone?
When it comes to hair removal, there are several methods available, but not all of them work for everyone, and they all have a downside.
Some are messy. Some are painful. Almost all of them are temporary. Even the most expensive (professional laser and electrolysis) aren’t 100% effective.
Chances are, you’ve tried some of the other at-home methods – shaving, waxing, sugaring, tweezing (for your face) – and already know about how well they work (or don’t).
So I thought I’d write this post to try to answer the question: No No hair removal – does it work? And will it work for you?
I’ll tell you about the science behind No No 8800, the studies that have been done and the results users report.
What is No! No! 8800? What is unique about it?
No No 8800 is a cordless device (about the size of a cell phone) that uses a unique patented heat technology said to weaken (and eventually destroy) the hair follicle, while not damaging your skin.
It is the first at-home hair removal system that uses directed heat. Also unique is that there is no pain (unlike most other methods) and it works on all hair colours and all skin colours (unlike laser). Also, it is safe to use on your face.
Why is No! No! popular?
Pain-free, at-home convenience, not having to schedule in and pay for professional treatments, and the fact that if you have tanned or dark skin, or if you have blonde or gray hair it works are among the things users mention.
No No 8800 is small and light, and it doesn’t burn through batteries because it comes with its own recharger. While the maker says it recharges in 4 hours, users said it works better if you let it charge overnight.
Women also mentioned the cost, which is about the same as getting two or three leg-and-bikini-line waxes. And it leaves no razor rash, bumps or redness.
What is the science behind No! No! 8800?
Radiancy, the company that makes No No, claims you will get up to 94% hair reduction with continued use 2 or 3 times a week by about the 6 month mark. (After that, you just do touch-ups from time to time).
So how does this stand up in independent testing?
All of the studies I was able to find were of the Classic No! No!, the edition that came before No No 8800 that was, by all accounts, less effective than the No! No! 8800.
The most recent was published in Journal of Drugs in Dermatology in August 2007. Testers used No! No! on their legs and bikini area twice a week for six weeks. At that point, they had a 64% reduction in hair. They stopped the treatments, but six weeks later they still had 43.5% reduction in hair regrowth.
“That’s about comparable to what you see with laser hair removal,” Francesca Fusco, MD, assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Mount Sinai School of Medicine was quoted saying in O, the Oprah Magazine.
Hair that does grow back is thinner, finer, and it takes longer to grow. If you stop using No! No!, the hair will return slowly.
Here’s what they said on the Dr. Oz Show: “Apparently, you can even use the No! No! hair removal device on your face, so it must be pretty gentle. After using it for about 6 months, the hair follicle gets killed and never grows back.”
I LOVE this thing! It makes my skin sooo smooth.

Can you buy No No 8800 online?
I have heard of people buying and getting knock-offs that don’t work as well and (of course) have no warranty.
That doesn’t happen when you click the link below and buy directly from the official site of the maker, Radiancy, knowing that you are getting the genuine No! No! 8800, along with a 60-day risk-free trial period and the full one-year warranty.
You also get a $100 Gift card bonus (if you live in the U.S.).
No No hair removal – does it work?
From everything I have been able to find, I believe the balanced answer is “Yes, for most people, most of the time, with more convenience and a much lower cost that professional hair removal, and with more convenience and better results than other at-home methods of getting rid of unwanted hair almost everywhere on your body.”
If you’re tired of the mess and bother of other methods (and the mixed results), No! No! is safe and affordable. I cannot promise it will absolutely work for you, because no method (including the one said to be the best, the very expensive professional electrolysis) does.
But, frankly, I don’t think you’ll regret trying No! No! 8800 and answering the only question that matters – does it work for you?
