No no hair reviews by actual users – real world no no hair removal 8800 reviews
This post gives you No No Hair reviews by actual users telling their real world experience (so often different than the ad hype).
I did a lot of reading around the Net, and here are comments I’ve found from actual users, most of them women because that’s mostly who buys No No 8800.
Yes, I did find some negative comments, mainly from people who didn’t try out this product – or just used it once or twice and gave up.
But hair grows at different rates, and you have to get it at different times in the growing cycle to kill the hair follicle, so getting good results requires some patience and persistence.
How does No No work?
Radiancy (the company that makes No No) claims its patented Thermicon™ technology damages the unwanted hair follicle, but not the surrounding skin.
Apparently, it works by directed heat that, the company says, crystallizes the hair follicle. Hair may come back, but if it does, it will be thinner and lighter ‘peach fuzz,’ which is easier to get rid of.
So, over time, as you keep regularly no-noing (maybe once or twice a week) you do end up getting rid of just about all of the hair. Up to 94% is the amount of hair regrowth reduction, according to Radiancy from their testing.
It’s popular, particularly among young women, because it is painless (unlike waxing, laser or electrolysis), doesn’t cause nicks, bumps or skin irritation (unlike other methods, particularly shaving), is convenient and mess-free (unlike sugaring), can be done at home and so is a money saver, and gets rid of most of your unwanted hair, or all of it, even in hard-to-reach spots (like the back of your knees) or on your face.

It’s really not painful. I’ve been using No No on my legs for several weeks now and I just feel it buzzing with some occasional light zaps. It also smells like burning hair, which is a little weird…. I’ve noticed the hair on my legs if finer, but not completely gone. Then again, I haven’t been that consistent. No No has the potential to work, if you’re willing to commit the time it takes.

The smell of burning hair is nobody’s favourite thing, but it does at least tell you that it’s working. Also, it isn’t as fast as shaving (per use) but if you’re used to having to shave frequently (even daily) to keep your legs smooth, soon you’ll be free of that, with just weekly touch-ups with No! No!. I’ve burnt myself a few times…They’ve all healed quickly but still, it shouldn’t really happen in the first place….overall, I honestly do think it works, but you have to really use it regularly, like 2-3 times per week. AND be careful when you’re using it!
- Schang, on essentialdayspa.com
Schang’s post was in 2007, and so she was using the earlier version of No No, the 8000. It is much improved with the new edition, the 8800, but it IS still possible to hurt yourself with this product.
Some users with really sensitive skin said they noticed redness, mainly on the face, but this went away in a few hours or so. Another complaint was what looked like small scratches, possibly from pressing down rather than gliding long the skin. A couple of people developed an actual small burn, but said it healed quickly.
Injuries are unusual (judging by all the reviews I read), but protect yourself by watching the video first, practicing on a small patch of absolutely clean and dry arm or leg, and if it’s uncomfortable, stop right away.
…just to say how great the nono has been. I have been following the instruction to the letter and have seen significant hair loss on my face and bikini line. The treatment has been painless and easy to do. I’ve tried laser before but this is much easier not to mention cheaper. Highly recommended!

Jennifer made this comment in 2010, and I found that there were many women who echoed this about the new version, the No No 8800. The consensus seems to be you get good results if you stick with it, and that also is what the next users are saying:
I found this worked well for me although the first 2 weeks were a little tough. After this, once it had worked through some of my coarser hairs, it’s been much easier and the treatment have gotten quicker….I decided to keep it after 6 weeks had elapsed since this was about the time I was sure it was working well. Now it’s been 3 months since I began using it and I’m still happy. I wish I didn’t have to change the tips every month but it’s only about $10 so whatever…happy lady here!

After using the NoNo for several months, I believe that the reason some people give it a bad review is because they have not used it long enough to start seeing results. The first few times I used it on my legs and arms, I thought it didn’t work because much of the coarser hair in some areas would not rub off with the smoother.
However, I immediately noticed that after use on my legs, I had the smoothest shave ever, even without any lotion. Before, even right after shaving, they still felt somewhat scratchy around my knees and other areas. Some hair in other areas didn’t rub off with the smoother either, but I noticed that after each use, the hair that does grow back, is much finer and there is less of it.
After three months, I can now see that within another few months, the hair that was initially too course to rub off with the smoother, will be fine enough that it will. This is an incredible invention as so many people know who have battled unwanted hair for so many years, plus we can use it in the privacy of our own home! I am so thankful for this amazing product!!

No No hair reviews – Summing up
This isn’t an overnight, miracle way to get rid of hair where you don’t want it – but it does work for most people who like the convenience and also the results that mean they never have to shave (or wax, or pluck hairs, or go for expensive spa hair removal) again.
Almost 3 out of 4 (of those who commented in all the places I found around the Internet) like their No No 8800 and decided to keep it, and one quarter said they love it.
