Revitol Eye Cream
Revitol Eye Cream
Have you worked your way through a list of products that promise to help with puffy eyes, dark circles and fine lines or crows-feet only to discover that (like too many beauty products) so often they seem to over-promise and under-deliver?
That was how I felt when I went in search of an eye cream with gentle, natural ingredients that doesn’t cost the earth and actually works. It also had to not irritate my sensitive (sometimes finicky) skin. Let me tell you about the one I found – Revitol Eye Cream.
There’s no celebrity endorsing this product, no big ads on TV, and it doesn’t have a designer package or a snazzy name, either. This is one of those products where the benefits (and your money) is in the actual product – not the wrapping.
Who is Revitol?
Revitol is a beauty and health products company founded in 2002 that specializes in natural products and they put the emphasis on safe and natural. Everything I have been able to find out about this company, including user reviews, backs this up – I was able to find no reports of allergic or adverse reactions, even from users with very sensitive skin.
Revitol Eye Cream is a cream you gently tap onto the sensitive skin under your eyes to deal with dark circles and at the outer edges, for puffiness and fine lines.
Users said they noticed the puffiness and dark circles were reduced, usually after two weeks of using it daily, and the fine lines weren’t gone, but there were less noticeable. One jar lasted about a month.
Revitol Eye Cream Benefits
Users said they found it easy to use, soft, non-greasy and it absorbs quickly. Revitol lists the benefits as improving under-eye circulation, reducing puffiness, under-eye dark circles and fine lines around your eyes.
Revitol Eye Cream Ingredients
I simply do not trust a beauty product that doesn’t list its ingredients, as Revitol does. I have taken the list and done some research to find out exactly what’s in Revitol Eye Cream, and how it works.
What I discovered is that these ingredients are separately approved by the U.S. FDA for inclusion in health and beauty products, and many are also approved as food seasonings or additives (not that I’m suggesting you eat your eye cream – just that it is that safe, which is reassuring).
- Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride slows the loss of moisture from skin and is widely used in sunscreens, moisturizers and lipstick
- Hydroenated Palm Kernal Glycerides, from palm trees, does the same
- Bisabolol is taken from the camomile plant. It soothes and calms skin, helps heal damaged skin, and reduces puffiness.
- Niacinimide is Vitamin B3, often in moisturizers because it helps skin retain moisture
- Fraxinum Excelsior Bark Extract is ash tree bark extract, known to be an antioxidant that protects blood capillaries from breaking down haemoglobin into dark-colored compounds, thus reducing dark circles under eyes
- Potassium Citrate is citric acid, giving a lemon fragrance and also adjusting the acidic/basic balance
- Dimethicone protects and moisturizes, but it is also a silicone (widely used in make-up and other beauty products). Some (very few) people are allergic to silicones – if this is you, this product may not be for you
- Dehydroacetic Acid is a preservative and anti-microbial
- Chrysin is made from blue passion flower and is an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant that also helps reduce skin pigmentation caused by breakdown of haemoglobin under the surface.
- Aloe Barbadensis is from the Aloe Vera plant. It is also an anti-inflammatory that soothes dry, damaged skin
- Allantoin is an anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory, so it also is soothing as well as a moisturizer
- N-Hydroxycicinimide reduces the appearance of pigmentation, so it helps with under-eye dark circles
Plus there are other ingredients to cause the cream to be soft, smooth and non-greasy and stay a cream.
It is light enough to wear under make-up, but most users preferred it as a night cream. While some users are as young as in their 20s, and some are men, most are women in their late 30s to 60+ and that, for them, the most important was younger looking eyes.
What causes eyes to look ‘old?’
Partly, it’s genetics. Dark circles can appear as early as in your teens. And it’s a myth that too much stress causes dark circles, though stress does take a toll on your skin’s brightness and your overall look of wellbeing.
Smoking is known to cause wrinkles and pre-mature aging, as is getting too little rest and sleep. To have great skin, you also need to get enough exercise and drink plenty of water – all the standard ‘how to be healthy’ advice also applies to healthy skin.
What do women who use Revitol Eye Cream say?
I was able to find very few user comments about this product and I did not find one negative review, nor anyone claiming a miracle ‘cure,’ either — leading me to think that there are many satisfied users as users tend to be very loyal to this product (amidst an ocean of competitors).
…has helped to reduce bags and lighten and tone the area under my eyes….a remarkable product.

Where to buy Revitol Eye Cream
I have not been able to find Revitol Eye Cream in stores, but you can get it with secure online ordering directly from Revitol by following the links on this page.
You have the option to buy more than one jar at a time (which saves money) and your purchase arrives in a discreet, plain wrapper.
Revitol ships directly to users world-wide. If you are in United States, expect it to arrive in a week or less via first class mail. Everywhere else it will take 2 to 3 weeks for delivery by Federal Express.
Does Revitol give you smooth skin around your eyes?
All indicators are that it does reduce the dark circles, tiny lines and small wrinkles, and puffiness, if not totally than enough to notice the difference (without make-up) and cover what you still don’t like more easily with concealer.
The fact is, there is no surgery for puffy eyes, dark circles and those tiny wrinkles, so (even if you would choose surgery) a good eye cream is still your best defense. This one, with its safe and natural ingredients and no-nonsense approach is a sensible choice.
